Les Dents Blanches are a mountain range in Champery which run toward the Col de Cou where the Swiss valley is closed off with spectacular fashion. (To the right of the painting) The closer you get the more impressive they become.
Interesting fact; During the Second World War, the Col de Cou was a known for the transport of arms and munitions and a strategic meeting point for Resistance soldiers. It was also the gateway to salvation for countless fleeing refugees.
