For me Llyn Nantle (lake Nantle) sums up everything that is Snowdonia national park. The untouched, imposing mountains and enchanting lakes that lay in so many valleys. This was painted this at 4am, before the sun rose. The turqouise moonlight dancing around the lake and off the boats in the foreground. There is an eerie calm about the area, The kind that makes you check over your shoulder every now and then, just because. You won’t find many tourists here.
